What to Expect
  • Be sure to fill out appropriate forms prior to your appointment so your Health Coach can assess your current health status.

  • You and your health coach will discuss your health goals and what you hope to achieve through coaching, as well as any challenges you're facing in reaching your goals.

  • You will be provided with information about nutrition, exercise, stress management techniques, sleep hygiene, or other relevant topics to help you make informed decisions about your health.

  • Together, you'll develop an action plan outlining the steps you'll take to achieve your health goals. 

  • Your health coach may refer you to other healthcare professionals or provide you with additional resources, such as articles, books, or community programs, to support your health journey.

  • Your health coach may recommend scheduling follow-up sessions to review your progress, reassess your goals, and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.

Note

Unlike doctors, health coaches can’t diagnose clients with specific conditions. And while nutritionists and dietitians may put clients on a specific eating plans to treat specific issues, the role of a health coach is to help you find the tools and skills you need reach your health goals.

How Often?
